Production Arts for Screen, BA Hons FullTime

This course is advertised to teach you set design, dressing and does everything but that. It is highly geared towards VFX and gaming. If you’re applying in hopes of gaining any practical skills in Production design this would be your worst decision. The course content over the span of 3 years is only aimed at digital elements and softwares that you have to be entirely self taught in. Not to mention the softwares they expect you to be good at aren’t even industry standard. The staff are unhelpful, rude and ignorant especially their course leader, technician and lecturer who are biased towards only the white students, don’t bother applying if you’re an international student as they will go out of their way to put your work down and offer zero support. Extremely toxic environment and A complete waste of your time and money. The location is terrible and as a whole the college and UAL offer no resources or support for student well being read more
