Curriculum just scratches the service of the subjects. No skills taught, the mentors and professors barely put in the effort for students. Graded assignments take an age to come back. Online resources are lacking. Curriculum is badly structured and barely gives enough time for content to be taught. read more

Lecture is mixed with undergraduate students and noisy, The environment is not controlled by lecturer. Seminars and workshops are organized by different tutors. Some workshops are just giving an assignment and finishes in 15 minutes…. It is surprising to think that we are paying money for this 15 minutes workshop... Dissertation supervisor is very cooperative, but this will depend on your supervisor. Each of the lecture information (slides and recordings), exam schedule, course schedule, grade are posted on the two-separate system (Sussex Direct and Canvas) which seems to be extremely random. Students will not be informed of which information will appear where. (This point seems to be usual in the UK). read more

Many of the lectures are just somebody reading off of a PowerPoint which I could do myself - and yet I’m paying over £9,000 a year for this?! The seminars are even worse, they’re awful, learn nothing every time. read more
