Psychology and Counselling, BSc FullTime

When I started this degree it was just counselling. The fact we get to go to placement actually really helps draw in all the theory I have been learning. My personal tutor is really helpful when we have one to ones and it helps me grow my learning. The course is packed full of lots of theory so time out of the course is needed to read up and study. read more

Paramedic Science, BSc Hons FullTime

During my time at the university of suffolk there have been multiple staff challenges on my course. This has definitely impacted my learning and I feel that had there been more experienced staff and consistent lecture in my first 2 years of my degree I would feel much more confident going into my third year. I appreciate these are circumstances outside of the team's control, and I have supplemented with my own learning, however £60,000 worth of debt for my course seems steep now considering what other students may get value for money wise. I am grateful for my placement times and know my employability post-course is going to be good, and the team at uni are very supportive. It was just unfortunate with previous staffing issues (these are resolved now!) read more

The current tutors are great but it does feel like the university does not prioritise this course. Not a lot of money seems to be invested in the resources for this course. I am really enjoying the content though so this is a big plus. It just feels like priorities are elsewhere for this university which is very sad. read more
