Really great experience at St. Andrews with very friendly people across, students, lecturers, hall staff and other admin staff. The buildings and town are very beautiful with a great cosy vibe. There is a lot of student representation and a real feeling that your voice can be heard if you have an important issue. The university and individual halls have lots of great traditions like the pier walk, the may dip, raisin weekend, high tables, wine and cheese etc. I try to participate as much as possible and it always feels like no matter who you are there is always something for you to take part in. read more

One thing I particularly appreciate about the university is that students are very closely involved, e.g. their feedback on modules, and all tutors are always super kind and helpful. We also have an extremely large number of societies and sports clubs, so everyone is sure to find something they enjoy. The quality of teaching is also really good and there are so many different modules to choose from and the flexible degree structure is also really great. read more
