Great Course, All the Lecturers care not only about the students well being, but the quality of the course. The resources you get access too, labs, equipment and knowledge, are the best in the country. All the employers I've spoken too take UoS students over others due to the practical nature of the course. Very easy to get a job, upon graduation. read more

Standard of teaching is awful - it's clear that the lecturers really don't want to be teaching. Some are clearly intelligent but are awful at explaining things. The course is all over the place with multiple modules that don't link together at all, making it impossible to keep up. Horribly stressful and personal tutor offered no support, despite me explaining on multiple occasions my struggles! He just said that I should be honoured to be attending a good uni and that I should get on with it. read more
