Highfield campus is amazing! Lovely campus read more
University of Southampton
Highfield campus has many green spaces, loads of places to study, and a massive library. The uni also has other much smaller campuses that are varying distances from the main Highfield one. This is nice in that some courses have a separate space, but is also annoying if your classes are scheduled on different ones in a day. Excellent sport facilities, including a pool. Around 400 clubs and societies, and many activities run by the SU. Lots of the societies are free and pretty casual . They're great for making new friends and trying new things. The student hub Iis the university service for any queries/advice/issues. You can access help 24 hours a day, and the advisors will calmly help you no matter what the issue is. The halls of residence are spread out across Southampton, which means you're more engaged with the community and not trapped in a uni bubble. This really helps to develop independence, and it's great to be able to discuss the different areas of the city. read more

Pretty good uni if you’re much more interested in societies than me. They have a lot of them to offer, but could maybe do with some more casual societies that arrange group nights out without themes/ rules read more

Very pleasant experience, the staff are always so helpful and ensure students are ready for exams in every way. The atmosphere at the university is very welcoming and friendly - I have never experience a bad day at this university. I recommend it to anyone considering coming to this university. The university does provide a lot of career events to ensure you are continuously thinking about your career but also events that get you closer with other students to forge amazing friendships and have some fun aside from the university. read more
