Lectures are pretty average, though I don't have any others to compare them to, really. The lecturers are mostly great people and answer any questions you may have succinctly and directly, though some lecturers' enthusiasm is visibly a little lacking. There is an unfortunate under-supply of tutoring sessions in my experience, and it is my honest belief that lecturers (and the university by proxy) relies on Panopto a little too much. The course content itself is very good, however. Constantly updated and engaging. The practical sessions are also mostly interesting (with one personal exception where you repeat an identical set of experiments in both Term 1 & 2, which was a little underwhelming). The Uni's IT department could use an upgrade, though the course's online resources have gotten a little better this year, they're still less than satisfactory; blackboard is not as user-friendly as it could be and many of its features simply do not work. Overall I think I had a good time though. read more
