My University course is really good. It includes a lot of writing and reading, as you would expect for University and the psychology side of it. The first year doesn’t focus much on the counselling side but you still have subjects for it! read more

It was a rocky start getting used to the online learning environment (Blackboard) and I have a personal grudge against Microsoft Teams, but I cannot fault the lecturers or the course. Shoutout to Gavin, a TA we had for one semester who was absolutely incredible. So far, I'm mostly satisfied with the respect students are given. Especially considering the circumstances of the pandemic, I appreciate the patience that my lecturers have had (looking at you, Shirl). It would be a little nicer to have assignments structured better (it isn't too different from anywhere else - this is just a personal preference that I hope the uni considers) weekly or biweekly, rather than have 3 assignments all due in the same week two months down the line. It gets a little annoying to timetable everything, especially friends who are busier with their children, but it's far from impossible. I can't say anything about the accommodation as I stayed home due to the pandemic, but my friend enjoys it. Recommended! read more

Teaching staff pretty rubbish and incredibly unhelpful, especially over emails and regarding exams/assignments but my personal tutor is amazing The course content isn't what I expected, although it follows the correct modules we were promised very different content on open days read more

I feel like I have been let down whilst studying this course. Modules I wished to study in my final year were ultimately dropped after a lecturer leaving, and I that as a double honours student from across 2 cohorts, information isn't always passed on clearly. Some lecturers clearly care about their job and are always happy to help and assist, whilst others come across like they don't care about how their students succeed. read more
