So far I’m really enjoying the course. The advice I’d give to first years is to remember that you’re studying a degree and this isn’t school so treat it differently. Make sure you’re on top of everything as you go along because it will save you so much stress! I love the content we’re taught and all lecturers upload their powerpoint presentations online so you can access them and most record a screencast which is great for revision as not all information is on the slides. Lecturers ensure you’re prepared for assessments, tests, exams by giving mock papers & model answers, examples etc. They really do want you to do well and make sure you’re clear on how to prepare. But you have to independent and make sure you use these tools to help yourself. read more
