Only issue is with some of the compulsory modules in first and second year not being very palaeontology related (because they are shared with other courses). For starters most of first year is spent learning stuff that is not gonna be needed again like electromagneticism and the makeup of other planets. The second year module not very palaeontology related is Professional Skills for Palaeontologists which is more of a general careers advice module read more

I think that the quality of some lecturers teaching methods should be improved. This is a commonly held belief within the different classes. While they are all very friendly and helpful, lectures can sometimes be boring, uninteresting and often they are not about the course or even the subject. read more
