Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration), MSc FullTime

My experience with the MSc in Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration) has been mixed. While the course content is reasonably good and covers the necessary areas, the teaching quality has been below expectations, with limited interaction and engagement from the instructors. The personal tutor support is average, but it could be more personalized and proactive. Unfortunately, the program doesn’t feel like good value for money given the cost, and the job prospects, while present, don’t seem significantly supported by the university. Overall, there’s room for improvement across multiple aspects of the course. read more

The course is great! There are amazing tutors and a few that's not so, but I guess this is everywhere (I have nothing to compare it to!) A lot of hands on experience from year 2 and 3 with case based learning. Nice range of placements with some areas you can choose, and have guaranteed 1 of 5 choices for one of the placements. A lot of sustainability as topic and 3rd year has a designated module for sustainability leadership which is a nice change. Time goes quickly and it's nice it's a faster 3 year course! read more

The lecturers are really friendly and are always happy to help. This course has been very interesting to learn about and it makes me very excited for the future. Although due to the current circumstances it is not ideal learning on zoom, I feel the lecturers have made sure us students have had the best possible experience and made use of resources. read more
