I am very lucky to have got into the MPharm degree at notts as it’s been rated best in the UK for pharmacy and number 2 in the world. I think it’s course reputation was primarily my reason for choosing to come to notts. So far I have found the course content to be really interesting- they do DMP modules which is basically learn about different conditions, how these relate to drugs and the patient and this really helps you to think about your knowledge in a wider sense and apply it to real life. The lab facilities are amazing. Some lecturers are considerably more helpful than others but I suppose this is the same with any course. I haven’t found having a person tutor to be of much help as their speciality isn’t actually in pharmacy so it’s hard to ask them any questions they will directly know the answer to. I love that some of it is still online with prerecorded lectures as it helps you to live a more flexible lifestyle. read more

We need more funding for placement travel. There are approximately 20 hours of teaching a week so we get given handouts of lecture slides, but they come in treasury tags. They rip after a few weeks use. Chemistry have much better quality handouts which would be better. Teaching is great, always help if you ask for it. read more
