Required subjects for Mathematics with a Year in Industry BSc Hons at University of Nottingham
A Level Mathematics is essential. A Level Further Mathematics (in additional to A Level Mathematics) is preferred but not required:
- A*AA including Mathematics
- AAA including Mathematics and Further Mathematics
- A*AB including A*A in any order from Mathematics and Further Mathematics
- AAA including Mathematics, plus A in AS Level Further Mathematics
The following A Levels are not accepted: General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies, Thinking Skills, Global Perspectives and Research.
A levels in general studies, critical thinking and citizenship studies are not accepted.

So far it's been really good, it's definitely challenging but not out of reach if you're on the ball. Most of my lecturers have been great, really enthusiastic and try and keep it interesting, there are a couple that are rather boring but still good, and one that's just awful but he's stopping teaching next year (yey!) My tutor isn't the best but I am planning to change and everyone I've spoken to finds their tutor really helpful. The teaching and assessment methods here are generally very good and you can tell the staff really want you to do well! read more
