Studying medicine has been a new experience and maybe not what I expected. I am still in love with medicine but that way it’s taught has been not so engaging. The topics are interesting but can sometimes feel repetitive in theory. I would’ve of loved for there to be more interactive and engaging practical sessions which reflected practicing medicine in later years. read more

Initially I felt that the course was lacking in structure and planned teaching however in second and third year I genuinely couldn’t have chosen to do a better course. Personally in third year, I believe that the lab project provides an insight into life in academia or even life after university and allows us to relay all the information learned to real life settings. I genuinely enjoyed the experience. As a student on the MSci course, I am thrilled to be continuing my research in a top notch research facility with researchers who are experts in their chosen fields. read more
