Geography BSc, BSc Hons FullTime

My main reason for taking admission in University of Nottingham was because of the course structure they offer. In my opinion, it was the best course structured offered in the country and I can rightfully say it is going pretty good so far. The modules are designed as per what the industry demands. The lecturers are really helpful and not just the academics but they help you out with tips on how to catch up with your course if you dont have pre-requisites for it. read more

I think there are a lot of opportunities with environmental science as it is a very current topic throughout our modern world. The personal tutors could respond more often but apart from that the course is really interesting and the lecturers always respond instantly! read more

Environmental Science, Msci Hons FullTime

This course was based on the Sutton Bonnington campus until 2 years ago. However, the lecturers are all still based on the other campus (that is 40 minutes away) and rarely come to university park. This means much of the course this year has been online and not up to value for money. We have been given excuses as to why the teaching is still online relating to covid-19 or lack of space, however these seem unlikely to be true. The teaching feels rushed and disinterested in expanding knowledge or challenging the students. read more

Environmental Science, Msci Hons FullTime

The course in the first year can be a bit frustrating as you can't choose majority of the modules but after the 1st semester you have freedom to choose and that's when it gets really fun. My personal tutor is great as their always ready to help and reply to emails quite fast. They help out a lot if you have any problems with coursework and overall paper work and even overall student life tbh. The teaching can sometimes vary depending on the modules chosen but overall it's quite good and there's various field trips you can go on. read more

Its a very random course- we cover topics from the ethics of animals and humans being equal members of society to counting tree rings and measuring biotic factors. I like the variety tho as im still not sure which pathway i would like to head down. the lecturers are all very friendly and mainly chill. my personal tutor is luckily really nice. read more
