Multimedia Journalism, BA Hons FullTime

Never had a meeting with my personal tutor or ever even been told who they are. This course is literally a btec in media studies. Good practical skills but literally no academic content. If you're the type of person who learns by doing and isn't very academic but is able to be constantly on the move, is very confident and has good people skills then this course could work. I only ever had to do 2 essays in first year and one of them didn't need referencing?! And the other only required 3 academic references?! Staff have good practical knowledge but CLEARLY put Their still ongoing journalistic careers first, before teaching commitments. the skills you obtain could be worth the money but then at the same time you could just do a free college corse and probably get the same skills so... Good if you're looking to waste a few years I guess. read more
