Kent’s a nice uni, they have got good mental health suppourt and good give it a go schemes. Wish law and politics students had more freedom with the modules they choose, can feel a little restricted at times. read more

My experience of university has been one that I like to title “Unfailing strength”. Ever since I got here, adjusting to the culture, creating a different mindset and abiding by the societal rules have been hard. The culture in Nigeria is very different from here. Even something as small as being taught how study instead of having to memorise details to pass an exam has made such an impact on me. That’s not to say that the culture is bad as it has been favourable for me, most times. It allows you to explore and have as many connections. In this same culture, I met people from different walks of life, created a community and I thrive. The school has been amazing but hard (as everything good is). I have struggled through it all but I am happy because God has been faithful and consistent. read more

The clubs and societies I have joined at the university have been great fun! The members are very friendly and encouraging, with socials held weekly and events to suit everyone. The campus as a whole is in a nice location - close to Canterbury city centre with regular bus services. The greenery in and around the campus offers a nice distraction from studying! There isn't another university I would study at! read more
