The clubs and societies I have joined at the university have been great fun! The members are very friendly and encouraging, with socials held weekly and events to suit everyone. The campus as a whole is in a nice location - close to Canterbury city centre with regular bus services. The greenery in and around the campus offers a nice distraction from studying! The Campus is beautiful, and facilities are accessible. I would like some more benches in key viewing areas but apart from that it is lovely. The union puts on plenty of events throughout the year and trys hard to engage with the students but with representation more leaning to international and coloured leaving other areas uncovered. Societies are interesting and allow for exploration, however at times they seem inaccessible due to timetabling and demand. The Careers service is very good and engaging, 3weeks in and I have already got a plan to better my CV for my chosen career path. read more
