The chemistry programme is great, the majority of lecturers are both excited and enthusiastic about their area of expertise and are great at trying to convey that. They will also help with other modules if they're able to and go above and beyond their remit. Some however clearly have no interest in teaching, or have forgotten that we mere students don't possess the knowledge of the subject they do and therefore don't understand it when they over complicate things. read more

I have just finished my first year of my degree (also did a foundation year). My experience here has taught me that the more work you out in here, the more you would get outnof the degree. It's pretty hard to fail as the support is pretty good and you get many chances to sort yourself out read more

Studying any hard science will give you good job prospects but the course at Kent is well put together and fresh. The course was only accredited by the RSC in the last 2 year's so it's very upto date and the academic staff are very helpful. read more
