Wonderful course, get taught so much and the tutors really help to teach students how to move forwards as professional illustrators after university. Lots of great briefs including one day projects and stuff like making Christmas cards to sell in the art shop. The facilities are wonderful, including access to printmaking and sculpture as well as a risograph machine which we're very lucky to have!

From the start I have been learning from my tutor and teachers, who come from different educational or academic backgrounds. This has contributed to my own learning experiences - when contacting clients I am using the skills I have learned from my teachers and my education. read more

Brilliant course, both hands on and written work are incredibly important and fun. Learning on film history is the most fascinating and important part for me. The tutors know what they're talking about and are excellent at their jobs. read more

They don’t give us enough support when making our films, they expect us all to be rich (eg telling us having a Macbook and other expensive things are MANDATORY when I’ve never even needed to use half of the things they made us get in first year for the entire 3 years. 80% of the lectures are telling us stuff we already know from secondary school. The biggest thing for me, was they have no appreciation for commuters, as they would cancel a lecture 10 minutes before it starts, or more often not tell us at all. This was fustrating to commuters as we would have wasted money getting to Uni that day. All in all, communication between lecturers and students is poor. read more

I really like my tutors and teachers except a couple ones that are literally terrible and awe full. I am in architecture not interior but there’s no option here for that. In general, they still have to grow a bit and weed out the bad teachers that are ruining it for everyone. read more

Model Design (Model Effects), BA Hons FullTime

Great course for industry knowledge however you will get more from students and technicians than tutors. Not sure if they are hard to find or really busy. Spent long hours in the studio over 8 week projects and didn't see much. Course is completely self funded, wasn't mentioned how expensive it world be at interviews. Great for contacts though. read more
