Animation is a great course! I only have done traditional animation that was hand-drawn that I completed and made in University but this course is great for starters. The lecturers are very helpful and enthusiastic about the projects and work that you complete and love to hear about what you will be doing. They help whenever you ask and if you don't understand the content that you were taught they will sit next to you and go through it step-by-step read more

Incredible course! The lecturers all know what they are talking about and this helps give confidence to students in their capabilities whilst on the course. I’ve only been encouraged to keep pursuing what I want to do and continually learn all that I can, as someone that can not afford all the equipment most students have the university has offered me support by lending equipment and helping to find more time for me to spend with my personal tutor and gain that extra help read more

The course was poorly taught and at times could be very boring. It consisted mainly of group projects which depending on your group members could truly affect your grade regardless of your input. Lectures were re-used and the slideshows could be shown twice. Most of the time I didn’t learn anything new and my personal tutor was bad. Feedback wasn’t specific or helpful, it seemed they reused the same template each time. For my final mark they summed up my input on the group task giving me something slightly less than a small sentence. Overall I am disappointed and massively let down with this course and would advise future students not to choose this course. read more

Although there have been some issues with things like other courses getting more than we do and messing around with teaching staff, the course is on the right track to becoming perfect with the new course head, Paul Roberts. The course content is great. Allows you to express yourself as artist, explore you passion. With being in such a small group and small proximity it allows you to have 1 to 1's along with extra help and allows for chats with fellow students that are massive helps in moving your work forward. Lectures don't take in consideration personal struggles such as money and health. Expects you to travel loads etc even tho most can't afford rent or food. And are extremely unorganized . read more

Course is badly ran. All staff are part time living in London and travel down to teach so are late and you can't talk to them when you need to. Staff ignore emails when asking for help. Very limited studio space. I'm very disappointed and I am dropping out. Do not recommend this course. read more
