Awful teaching, lecturers sometimes don't even know what is going on in their notes, and most have an awful manner of attempting to relay information across. Could use some teaching training before throwing these researchers into classrooms. Exams are very inconsistent with subject matter, and should be written to fit with the standards meted out by the IOP instead of focusing only on one topic from the entire syllabus! read more

Brilliantly crafted degree programme. There are plenty of pathways for progression throughout the degree in case the degree is found to be challenging. Lectures are nice for the most part with some lecturers just being outstandingly brilliant at their jobs. However it must be mentioned that most of the work will just be self study. Labs deserve special mention for being highly engrossing although intensive. read more
