Currently doing a FCH program, it is a combined honours of Politics, Management and Japanese. Absolutely love the flexible here! I like how open-minded politics professors and tutors are, classes are very interesting and engaging, they really take in aspect from diff international students. Also love the energy in Japanese class, our Japanese teacher here is a native Japanese, she's always giving her 20000000% in teaching, i could feel her passion in teaching even though i was taking her online classes for a year when i was a sophomore student, brilliant experience! read more

Good range of modules offered on various different topics, some very specialised (e.g. the politics of humour, maritime power). Lecturers are mostly engaging but seminars are the most rewarding part of the course. Don’t buy the textbooks even if they recommend it, they’re crazy overpriced and they never use them for classes. read more

So far so good, some tutorial leaders seem a bit uppity which makes it hard to have discussions, especially in politics which is so subjective, but overall im happy with the course content. I've have had some amazing lecturers too, shoutout Sarah Cooper in public policy, she made a course that i was dreading (bc boring) quite interesting. Have not had much contact with my personal tutor but I haven't felt the need either so it doesn't bother me. prepare for not too many contact hours but lots and lots and lots of reading. read more

Decent course. Lectures are recorded online and are mostly very interesting. Really flexible too as can pick any of the Politics modules. Could be more flexible on the history side. Haven’t met my personal tutor so can’t really comment on that but there hasn’t been much of a personal feel with the tutors or lecturers in my experience tbh. read more

Economics and Politics, BSc Hons FullTime
Great lecturer in John Maloney. Interesting lectures, interesting content. But modules such as Economic Principles are terrible. The lecturer reads of the slide in an intelligible Greek accent. The tutorials consist of doing questions from the textbook in complete silence, something we could do in our own time. Business school tutorials are also only once a fortnight, as a result of overcrowding. And the tutorial classes are too big - 20 people at least. So getting time to ask the tutors questions is nigh on impossible. Politics modules are MUCH better. read more
