Professors and tutors are always interested in helping students and making sure they have a thorough understanding of the material and can keep up with the course. The personal tutor could not give a s*** about you! My PT would prefer to ignore all important emails from myself than do his research that no one in the world is never going to see. The first year course is really difficult from the get go. The exams are made to be really difficult so it's impossible for any student to get an A except for the Asians who have done the work before read more

The Statistics course that I had studied was awfully designed and poorly taught with little to no resources offered. It seemed as though it was expected of us to know everything beforehand despite our different educational backgrounds. The Student Satisfaction Rankings as dictated by the National Student Survey (NSS) for University of Edinburgh is thus rightfully at Rank 117 out of an approximately 123 UK universities. My sincere recommendation is for prospective folks to instead consider other universities in Scotland for M&S at least and to not fall prey to the International QS Ranking that Edinburgh University often flaunts. read more
