Biological Sciences (Immunology), BSc Hons FullTime

It is unclear what kind of job prospects are available for me in the future, and the summer internship suggestions were very limited and not as diverse as I had expected. Besides doing Immunology with Management, there are no other options for double degrees (e.g. with Chemistry). The diversity of courses that I could choose was a little limited. read more

Medical Sciences, BSc Hons FullTime

Probably one of the most expensive courses throughout UK university. There is high variation in the course delivery of each courses. The variation is quite inconsistent making it hard to gauge the importance of each course, especially the electives. The choice of electives in third year is also very limited (e.g. in semester 2 only 3-4 electives were offered). The quality of each course was also very inconsistent, with the main course being of great format but the delivery was subpar to its goals. Social events e.g. networking dinner, pub quiz, hillwalking, organised by the school could have also improved the socialising of Med Sci students (since we are also small) and getting to connect and know each other more than currently. read more

I've been exceedingly happy with the course I've chosen. The teaching has been very good, I've been able to mold the course according to my interests. Research opportunities have been good. My personal tutor has been very helpful. The course content in the first two years is more general but becomes a lot more specific during Honours. Great course highly recommend. read more
