I’m first year and in week 6 so far! There is lots of reading and I recommend buying second hand cheap on eBay or Facebook, handy to have them. Teaching staff are really helpful and lenient with missing classes for flu etc. I’m on placement already which is nerve racking and I feel not ready or experienced therefore research into alternatives to verbal communication in aphasia. read more
Paramedic Science, BSc Hons FullTime
Though it's a lot of hours and hard work, this course is extremely fast paced and exciting, plus the practical elements offer both experience and a break in academic study. Pretty much guaranteed a job on the other side of the course, and after all of your placement experience you'll know exactly what you're signing up for. As it's a smaller, newer course we have a string input in our preferred learning, and the teaching is more personal. If you want to be a paramedic, I couldn't think of a better place to study. read more

Only the second year intake for this course so still a few things to iron out, but over all the lecturers are amazing and understanding of the hard graft and long hours. It's difficult to manage time as there's not to get done, but UEA handle this excellently: there's a tonne of support available, from day one. The course is really gripping and the people on it are lovely. It's nice to be on a smaller course because you get to know everyone a bit better :) read more
