Great facilities and provides everything one would need to complete their studies. Lots of cafes and places to sit and study located across the campus. The nature that surrounds the campus is probably one of the best aspects. Perfect balance of plenty of club and society nights for those who love to party and go out, but also many quiet, chill spaces indoors and outdoors for students and staff alike to relax or study. read more

Switching University's to move to UEA was one of the best things I could have done. I love my course and how it allows me to shape my interests around what I want to study. My lectures and seminar leaders have given me confidence to believe in myself as well as gaining this from joining one of the many clubs they have to offer. read more

I would definitely say its a very vibrant place to study. There's always stuff and activities going on on the campus to keep you engaged and occupied at all time if you're not sure what you could do during your free time. I had the chance to try unique sports that are not very accessible back home and I'm really happy that it's a very open and welcoming environment that enable me to blend in comfortably. read more

Left from London to start anew and fresh. Really wrong choice for the area/location. Norwich is predominantly filled with white racists even amongst the university staff and students. I’d highly recommend other similar south Asian ethnic backgrounds to avoid at all costs! read more

University of East Anglia (UEA)
Pretty mediocre university located in a small city which can become very isolating quickly. The campus has a fairly large SU for its size and I think it puts too much effort into it rather than individual course teaching quality. The LCR is nothing to write home about, and they really hike up the prices of drinks for the students compared to other places. The university has suffered severe financial losses and has built up a lot of debt in the last few years so will be interesting to see how it plans out. The university also seems to take advantage of international students, especially those who study in INTO into legally binding contracts that are hard to avoid, and seems to provide poor quality education for the price they pay. The quality of education through lectures and seminars can be very hit and miss, with some lecturers having very poor levels of english and can be hard to understand. The library is very nice though, and props to the postal room staff who are great read more

I've been really enjoying my time at UEA so far. If you're looking for a well-respected University in a low-key, but still interesting and exciting environment with plenty to do, I would highly recommend the University of East Anglia. They have a wide selection of courses ranging from medicine to humanities (not to mention, Matt Smith studied Drama and Creative Writing here). read more
