Great overall course experience. I had some really, really great lecturers, and some lesser enjoyable ones, but none that were outright terrible. Wish there were more employer events and trips to jobs/worksites. Otherwise it's decent.

Well I was having difficulties with my school work and life activities because I arrived the Uk very late and was trying to balance my schedule. The lecturers were really supportive and understanding about the situation and always asked if I had issues with my coursework. I like the fact the lecturer gives you mock exams to help you know your strength. read more

So, it's too soon for me to talk much about this course. But to be honest, I'm not very happy with it so far. I'm doing a master's in Computer Science (Conversion) - So I don't have any background in computer science. I really think the course would be more about learning how to code and more practical, but, instead, we have been writing a lot and not doing much coding. Also, the conversion course shares lots of modules with the advanced computer science masters, which I don't think it's fair since most of us don't have a background in computer science. I like the uni, the experience I'm having in Chester and the people I've met here. But honestly, I'm not sure if this master's is preparing me for the job market. If this wasn't a conversion course it would be okay, but as a conversion course, I was expecting much more of them. Especially regarding learning the basics of computer science, data structure and algorithms. I really hope it gets better next semester. read more
