Great course, wish that you did not have to trek all the way to the arts building in the suburbs of Chester to attend classes. Teaching and lectur staff could be more resizable with critique especially in this field. It does not feel at all like everyone gets the same level of feedback and it producing a similar level of work. I feel like lecturers should be morê encouraging and enthusiastic about pushing students to see more of the level of work they are expecting as it is not very clear. read more

Gender inequalities, I am the only one of my gender in my most of my classes, this wouldn’t bother me so much if it wasn’t for the fact that I stand out like a sore thumb, and I’m treated as such, also The course is obviously very specific to one gender and I just think that’s outrageous, members of staff have spoken about dangerous ideologies, include a member of staff praising the work of a terrorist. some great members of staff that have gone above and beyond and out of their way to help me personally and other students and have been able to alter my experience for personal reasons. Graphic design was a better experience more gender equality, and teaching is levelheaded and non opinionated which I really respect, flexibility is great, Communication is wonderful, although group activities need to be reevaluated as they don’t get the results that are best, I have yet to fully understand several softwares I am using as I’ve not been told how to use them. Needs updating read more

I do not feel confident at all about entering the industry as I don’t feel I’ve learnt a single thing about graphic design. The course was a stream of assessments and very little information on the basics of graphic design and it has not felt worth the 9k that I am going to spend the next couple decades paying off. read more

They don't teach you much as most people come to the course having already been to art colleges and being fluent in all Adobe software. Granted the staff are all lovely at the Kingsway Campus and the teaching is brilliant as long as you understand this is University level learning and laziness will rightly land you with late penalties. The facilities are all quite good and Greg the print technician is a great guy. The canteen on sight serves a great selection of foods and if you are a full-board student then I recommend you get a meal deal as the cooked food is very greasy. read more
