Chester wants its students to be employable at the end, as a result, they provide a huge amount of support both within the course itself, and alongside it. There are excellent gym facilities at Exton park, including a swimming pool, racquet courts and playing fields, plenty of societies, as well as various seminars that are free to attend. I have a disability and have had plenty of support from lecturers and other departments including the disability and inclusion team, not once have I felt like I was excluded, all I ever need to do is speak to someone and accommodations can be figured out. Outside of Uni, Chester is an amazing city, everything is within walking distance, and as an Archaeology and History student, the layers of history in the area have been fascinating to discover, and our lecturers take us out of the classroom to explore it. They also have close ties with the cathedral and museum and local archives who are more than happy to support us in multiple ways. read more

The societies that are able to join are good, my issue is with how they are ran. They can be significantly better and aren’t doing events and other activities my friends at other universities say. The main campus is good with all its facilities, WiFi is great. When I have been in contact with the student union I have had no positive experience. read more

Everything is exactly as you would expect it, aside from the wifi being a little slow or at times totally impossible. Chester always seems to be finding new and innovative ways to upgrade their facilities to accommodate all students for instance the renovation done to Seaborne Library which is now the perfect space. read more

Were to start about Tudor Place chester. The rooms are very spacious and the heater that comes with the room is very useful especially in these colder months. Everyone here is very friendly including the staff which are available for most of the day. The social rooms are a good way to meet new people and the gym is free and is available 24 hours. The washer and dryer are very efficient and are responsibly priced. Tudor Place is very convenient for the university and the city centre, both are within a 10 minute work if that. I would highly recommend coming to tudor place as it is a great accommodation and you will feel right at home here as it has everything you could need. read more
