Overall its not a bad place to be, it's got its downsides but its a pretty good place and the staff are all trying their best to make it as good an experience as it can be! It would be nice to have some more societies though, compared to other universities there arent as many. read more

The experience on campus during the day is as expected, busy with student life whilst attending lectures. Lecture halls where renovated are brilliant to go into and listen on to your lecturer. However the older buildings have different seating arrangements with fold out chairs being too close together not leaving enough leg room if you are of a moderately tall height. They host multiple pop up starbucks cafes within the cafe areas on campus. They provide discounted pricing for student which is great if you are looking for a decent coffee or drink to kickstart your morning. The students union has its difficulties along with the canteen. Food menus dont seem to vary much throughout the year. With last year serving primarily only wraps from one of the main canteen serving points. The SU building could get a lot more use with promoting the buildings availability to step inside as students arent sure whether the front rooms are office spaces or rooms available to use. read more

I’m situated at Gateway House in the town centre which has been perfect for my course. Great facilities and lecturers are lovely and immensely helpful. Felt I was able to adjust to University life quicker than I thought and I think a lot of that is due to the University itself. The Students Union is great, with a range of societies and sports clubs on offer. Numerous events to take part in also including the Union Bar’s nightly events such as bingo. Careers advice has been great even if it is early on. read more
