I had a good experience with the facilities and campus. The wide range of clubs and societies, the active and engaged Students Union, the excellent Careers Service, and the reliable internet connection all contributed to creating a positive and enriching environment for students. I recommend this institution for its outstanding facilities and campus life. read more

Both courses compliment each other really well and the teachers have some great research that is really interesting to learn. Not all unit choices are the best but you usually get your first or second picks. Mainly essay based rather than exams. read more

Shambolic institution which has continuously proven that it holds no regard for students’ mental health and well-being. It is no surprise that UoB notoriously holds one of the highest student suicide rates across all British Universities. As an incoming third year student, I’ve experienced my own fair share of discrimination, injustice and negligence when it comes to the University’s acknowledgement of my disabilities and illnesses. Over the years, I’ve known of students who’ve committed suicide (and the University wouldn’t even proactively acknowledge that their system is flawed), to friends dropping out due to being relentlessly unsupported by the system. This has gotten progressively worse after the pandemic. An online petition was started by a UoB student for UoB to take appropriate measures in academic mitigation in light of COVID-19 and nothing has been done either. read more
