No complaints about the uni itself other than that the support for freshers could be better, as starting university can be incredibly overwhelming and all the events only added to that - having schemes like other unis where the upper years are assigned to freshers and guide them through the week would have really made a difference to my freshers experience read more

Completing my postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol was an extremely exciting experience. The overall experience was very good, and most of the teachers were very knowledgeable and kind, especially Professor Ai-Ling Lai, whose teaching style I really enjoyed! However, the professional abilities of some teachers were a bit disappointing, and they did not seem to match the professional image of the University of Bristol. Overall, the experience of studying at the University of Bristol will be a memorable and unforgettable wonderful memory in my life. read more

Very proud of its elite reputation, but counting on it for everything which makes an open dialogue and critique difficult to raise. Teaching is incredibly varied at Sociology. The structure of units often messy, and inconsistencies between units. Academics usually more engaged with their own ‘’marginalised’ position as academics rather than students’ rights and respect for their payments and basic rights like appeal and genuinely blind marking. read more
