Geography, BSc Hons FullTime

Don't come to Bristol for the course, come for the social aspect. As daft as that sounds, it's probably true. The engagement with students is basically zero as the university is way beyond maximum capacity (see newport scandal) and as such there is not enough lecturers for students. The lecturers are lovely, but do not reply to emails and often cancel lectures and seminars. The organisation is bad and man, it takes, FOREVER for them to get anything done. We are STILL waiting for information on how our degree will be classified and our exams are due in in two days. Its laughable. The people on Geography are the best at the uni, very personable and fun, but the teaching is subpar and the organisation reflects the standard set by the rest of the university. Utter s***. read more
