History, BA Hons FullTime

History at Bristol does allow you some decent choices of optional modules in first year that not all universities do. The first year does focus more on older history however the optional modules allow you to choose more modern history if that is what you prefer. Also the modules for second year appear to give even more choice which is good. read more

Really enjoyed my first year of history, the modules are quite broad but so interesting and you can choose what content within them to pursue further. All the lecturers were nice and I actually really liked the flexibility of watching recorded lectures on my laptop. read more

My course is great and I enjoy most of the content, there are a few modules which I didn't have much interest in ( but this is down to a personal choice I guess) but overall its been great. They have tried their best with the online teaching but being that this isn't what I signed up for and thus didn't really want to pay so much for online classes, I rate the value for money lower. Overall really great! read more
