If you want to complete the MSc Psychology program here ... BEWARE. After an 8-month dispute with my School, I received 40% of my tuition funds back, a recommendation was made to the School of Psychology, and an apology was given. This occurred because the expected level of practical research experience and support needed for me to flourish both within and beyond this institution unjustifiably lacked and in turn made Ph.D. placements and securing a job in my field futile. Throughout my time there I received a complete lack of support from my supervisor that aided in the overall lack of research experience I was able to receive. Despite the multiple attempts I made to allow staff to determine alternative solutions, their dismissals on all fronts and its resulting repercussions were enough to warrant a complaint. I would NOT recommend it. read more

The first year of psychology is fairly easy going. There are few contact hours which seems great at first but in second term becomes fairly boring. The content is very research based and so very different to a level. As someone that is passionate about psychology I was disappointed as the small number of contact hours, seminars and tutoring I felt like I wasn’t even studying. read more

The course isn't well managed/run, always confusion as to whats going on, mixed advice on coursework etc! Its as if lecturers turn up to say their 50 minute piece then head home with no care! Personal tutors are a joke and as it's mainly lecture based, there is little time to get to know coursemates read more
