Never really got that involved in SU. Tried to run a club and it wasn't well supported. Organisation is never UCAs strong point. They have winter and spring markets where students can sell their art things which is pretty great. Canteen food is not fab. read more

Don’t waste your years going here. I went to uca in Epsom for the level 3 desploma ( A Levels). Honest to say these were some of the worst years of my life. I started in 2020 so in the beginning of Covid so you can’t blame them for that however I took Fashion business and retail. There were 8 people in my course at the beginning of the year by the end there was three ( I should have seen the red flags) when I returned for year two, it Turns out my teacher (year 1) left the uni during the summer as the course she had taught us the whole year wasn’t even a course! Meaning all the work we did first year was pointless and the exam board had to make us up a grade. To make things worse we were not informed about our course and the fact it didn’t exist until the day we returned for year 2 we were put onto a foundation course and had to choose a subject Within that. To sum it up worst uni so unorganised and F***** up my collage years so thanks UCA 🚩🚩🚩 read more

UCA is great for anyone wanting to get into the creative industries. There’s a good variety of courses to chose from. They offer some very specific courses you can’t find anywhere else. Some campuses have better facilities than are others. The WiFi, canteen and student union varies but none are bad - some are just better than others. All campuses have a very welcoming environment- they don’t feel snobby like other universities I visited ( I’m looking at you UAL! ). For me, it’s not all about the campus and facilities - the course and tuition matters too. This is where UCA is the best around. All of the tutors and technicians I’ve had have been great. You get taught by people actually working in the industry. Overall I’d say UCA is a great university and I would definitely recommend it. read more
