My experience as an international student at Solent University has been nothing short of exceptional. The campus is incredibly accessible, with a compact layout that makes it easy to navigate. The addition of cozy cafes provides the perfect spot to relax with friends during lunch breaks. The staff are truly amazing – friendly, polite, and always willing to lend a helping hand. The teachers are equally impressive, taking a genuine interest in students' future aspirations and offering guidance accordingly. They go above and beyond to ensure each student grasps the concepts, making the learning experience truly personalized. For those who share my passion for sports, Solent is an ideal choice. The university boasts teams for almost every sport, complemented by excellent gym facilities and an injury clinic that provides expert care. A wide range of courses and great student assistance. However, I wish that the courses would offer smaller graded assignments than one or two big assessments that cover the majority of students' grades. read more

I moved here because one of my friends talked about the great experience she had there, and I don’t regret! The spaces on this building are very new, I love spending time on the cinema room, but also the gym. When focusing on my studies, there are small rooms perfect for it. A good university with good facilities with helpful, caring staff. The main downside is that there were only around 11 societies to join and they were all societies like 'the Asian Society' or the 'Islam society' , leaving most people with no options for societies. It is good for sports, with 30+ teams, however the university puts them under clubs/teams rather than societies, and isn't great if you don't enjoy sports. read more
