Applied Mathematics and Physics, Msci Hons FullTime

The course is absolutely incredible, focusing on lasers and plasma, high energy cosmology and material nanotechnology with additional background in applied maths for able students. However, the university has limited links to research institutions, seemingly preferring to build academic links. More links to public science bodies like the STFC are needed. read more

Theoretical Physics, BSc Hons FullTime

Good solid start for building the foundation aspects of the course in my first year. Fantastic facilities in labs and good for building up presentation and report writing skills; very good feedback quality on these also. Extremely friendly and approachable staff, both in Mathematics and Physics. Also really appreciated the induction process in first year as a way to meet friends! read more
