If you’re studying law at Queens, be ready to teach yourself 90% of the course. Staff are useless and often don’t provide any real help, take ridiculously long to reply to emails and sometimes even make it their mission to belittle you in front of your peers if you ask them a question in person. The tuition fees are very expensive and for the quality of teaching you receive it feels super unfair. Tutors and lecturers are constantly on strike and as mentioned are often completely useless when you present them with any problems you’re facing. The course content is moderately interesting however there is a lot of assumed knowledge and it moves very quickly. Be prepared to teach a lot of the topics to yourself and learn independently. Perhaps the only positive is that in the end you’ll be leaving with a useful degree that’ll open a bunch of job prospects but besides that I can’t recommend studying Law at QUB in the slightest. read more
