I think the course covers a good range of literature and each of the modules in my first semester have been unique and interesting. I have particularly enjoyed the Irish literature module and have studied some really fantastic pieces of Irish literature. The lectures have covered a wide range of information surrounding each piece that provide context and allow for questioning of the authors intention and how it related to that time period as well as our own. The tutorials have given me confidence in forming and communicating opinions and ideas as well as hearing and debating with others. read more
