StudentCrowd University Awards for Universities
You’ve got to be in it to win it. #
StudentCrowd's University awards are simple. Our league table winners are based purely on verified student reviews left on our site between June 2022 to June 2024.
We have placed student experience and student voice right at the heart of our awards, making them completely independent and unbiased.
In order for a university to be eligible for an award they need to have a minimum of 100 reviews across our three review areas. These include university, course and accommodation. This is to ensure the awards are based on a range of student opinions and not just the cherry picked few.
So, you’ve got to be in it to win it. If you’d like to know if you currently meet the threshold to be in with a chance of winning an award simply contact us by emailing digital@studentcrowd.com.
came here for my year abroad after not getting into the uni I wanted in the first place (London)… I was blown away by the BEAUTIFUL campus… The more time I spent here the more I realized what’s the greatest thing about this uni, which is the social life. The different clubs, societies and constant events going on are what make the experience here immaculate. One of the best years of my life (if not the best)…

Award season is upon us with the hotly awaited StudentCrowd University Awards announced on 3rd July 2024.
With 1.6 million unique visitors to our site this year, we know prospective students are using authentic student reviews to make decisions.
UCAS’s 2020 New Applicant Survey (above) reported that the second most important resource to decide which university to apply to was ‘Online reviews by other students’.
78% of respondents stated reviews were either ‘important’ or ‘extremely important’ to their university decision, second only to a university’s own website.
Prospective students are researching student reviews for information, typically turning to Google and finding StudentCrowd!
Generating reviews for your uni: benefits students, benefits you
Our data shows the more reviews you generate, the higher up the league tables you move.
Simply put, the more reviews you have, the more rounded and diverse the feedback on your university is.
Universities with a low number of reviews tend to be from those disgruntled students who want to get something off their chest.
As review numbers increase, these tend to get evened out with a more balanced, reflective score of the actual student experience.
How you can get involved
We have created lots of ways to engage with review generation at your university, including social media assets.
Let's get started
You can put these simple steps into action today to start generating reviews.
