An excellent university with great facilities and modern architecture which means it’s an easy place to learn and be in the mindset to learn. For the city campus, the student’s union isn’t huge and often when you go it’s rather full with limited space, especially if you are in a group. Computers are everywhere and very easy to access. I really enjoy studying at Leeds Beckett. The facilities are brilliant, and as a music student the Arts building couldn't be more up to date, accessible and plentiful. The student union, canteen, study spaces and pastoral care are also of a similarly exceptional standard. The university is an extremely modern one and has a diverse range of degrees, clubs and societies, including a widely recognised sports programme. There are virtually no issues with internet. The student union tries hard to put on/promote relevant events and their musical gigs and venue is impressive. The lecturers are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. There is a real sense of community throughout the university but especially within my course group. I fully recommend and couldn't have asked for a better uni experience. read more
