Great place to get to know your other students. Great community, but not worth the money unless you like silverfish, flooding and rats.

Wifi was not the best
When I lived here it was clean and everything it advertised
It would be even better if you didn't have to go catered. It would also be better if they have a more lounge area in the social area.
It's really easy to socialise within these halls and the communal space is large enough to have people over which is great. However, the showers and wifi connection have caused the most problems. The condition of most kitchen appliances is great, however small things like blocked sinks or flickering lights do start to cause trouble after a while. All in all, Welkin is a great place for studying and getting to meet new people, the launderette and students union bar is in great proximity.
Internet was bad, food was average, cleaners did a good job, halls was frequently noisy, especially in he middle of the night, and it's very far away from clubs and town
Great place to live and meet everyone you need to make friends for life
