Goldsmiths, University of London
Goldsmiths is notorious for being a leading arts university and it offers a range of very unique tertiary courses — while the university has a great collection of academic staff of real industry experience and a great sense of community among the student cohorts, where Goldsmiths is significantly falters is its administration and those who run it. Frustrations in funding and structural decisions have an impact on the institution as a whole, leading to somewhat of a disappointing experience in some aspects of learning. Overall, at Goldsmiths what you put into your course is what you get out of it — that can often mean going the extra mile or ten and doing that without support. Great university, great students, great staff, but extremely disappointing administration. read more
