I really enjoy my course, it is a subject that I am very passionate about and the tutors and lecturers also share this passion. The first year is very much about experimenting with media, visual language, different project briefs, discovering the facilities on campus (eg printing rooms) and finding our interests. However, because it is such a big course, there is not much one on one time with tutors to get feedback on your work. read more

The Illustration alumni have won numerous awards and prizes. Students here go on the achieve great things. I think this is because the course is so well respected and presented. We're expected to achieve this, though not feeling pressured. We're guided to fulfil our potential. Our tutors are all practicing illustrators; they know what they're talking about, and are always approachable. We have workshops, seminars, crits and lectures five days a week, which makes me feel like it's worth the money. I'm feeling more confident every day. read more
