First year, with any course really, usually just covers the basis. Even though some modules weren't the most interesting and some lecturers didn't really make the effort to actually encourage you to listen to them, the ones striclty connected to the course were run perfectly. The tutorials for Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Introduction to Finance were a great help when it came to understanding the material thaught during lectures and a great exercise before the exams. Finishing the course at Cardiff University also enables you to get loads of exemptions from professional bodies such as CIMA and ACCA, which is a great start to your new carieer. read more
