Terrible! That's the only word I can use to decribe my experience studying mechanical engineering at BCU. It feels more like a local college full of people who are not really interested in studying or teaching. I also find the teaching staff, bar one or two, to be very rude and patronising. You're very much made to feel as though they're doing you a favor by taking your £9250 a year. The lectures and tutorials are a complete waste of time, and the way material is organised on moodle is very incoherent. There is also constant errors on experiement result sheets to a point where you begin to question if the teaching staff themselves understand it. As I mentioned above, a lot of people studying at BCU are not really there to take their education serious. Nearly 40% of people on my course (around 45/120 people) haven't accessed moodle for months if at all which means they haven't done online tests and have given up on the course (we're only in week 10) Overall I'd give BCU 2/10. read more
