Law, LLB Hons PartTime

Teaching on the Law programme is divided into lectures and seminars. Lectures tend to be an hour and a half and consist of lecturers teaching the year group the core aspects of each topics considered on the course. Seminars, on the other hand, are undertaken in much smaller groups (usually about 10-15 students) and are more interactive in nature. These encourage students to be familiar with course material beforehand so that they can be more involved in any discussions or debates which may arise. Similarly, seminars offer students with the opportunity to ask questions and be curious. Most lecturers and seminar tutors are generous with their time and are willing to arrange to meet with students on an individual basis.
