The majority of the modules have interested me and all the lecturer have been helpful and enthusiastic. It has included some field trips which have been useful and enjoyable although more practical experience would be great. A very diverse course with a wide range of topics and provides advice on how to get into different career options.

Im really enjoying the course, I wish it was more field based or more practical. It has some interesting subjects, but I feel like we need more practice on doing things we would do in jobs not quizzes. read more

Its okay all in all. When it comes to value for money as well as course content and teaching quality, i definitely wouldn't say its the best... The majority of the content i've covered in the time that i have been here has been based on carbs, plants, and classifications. I have yet to see a live animal in front of me lol The expectations that come with the course can be quite insane, for example, you could be given 2 individual 70% assignments, weekly examinations, told to attend additional 2 hour lectures weekly about subjects unrelated to animals, told to spend over 36 hours out of class time to study, and told to follow a new 'point system' that relies on you attending extra clubs, classes, volunteering, getting a job in order to graduate, all this told to you in one go and having to try to juggle everything, which is practically impossible. All in all, i'd give a 5/10 or so, generally for the course (although this may change in future) read more
