I learned a lot. I loved 2nd year teaching, but 1st year was bland and 3rd year had such little choice I hate all modules and could not concentrate studying for exams because I did not find them interesting. They need more modules (specific zoology stuff like: herpetology, ornithology, mammals…) read more

I'm enjoying my course so far, first year was a bit drab due to it being communal to all biology... but second year gets much more into the course itself (and also quite a bit more challenging). read more

Lectures are well planned with all materials for them being uploaded so as you can review them later, lecturers are very capable and do their lectures well and help students who didn't understand them. Tutors are very helpful, making sure your keeping up with work and also helping you with essays you need to do. Job prospects are broard for once you complete your course and are told to you before you start the course. read more

Course is VERY intense, I have 9ams every day, some days with 3 lectures and a 4 hour practical. That being said, I think this course at this uni is one of the most rigorous and relevant in the field. Aber's at the forefront of international research, often our lecture material included brand new research from the uni itself, taught by lecturers who conducted it. The access to incredible landscapes is unparalleled, even walking to lectures through penglais woods is incredible. There's masses of support from student wellbeing, careers advisers, personal tutors and course/module coordinators. Facilities are of good quality, some brand new, some just standard, but never lacking. I have found this course very strenuous though, and dealing with mental health issues at the same time, I've found it very hard to keep up with the pace read more
